Michaela Cobb '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball in the 5th grade, and immediately fell in love with the sport. Whether it’s playing beach or indoor, I am a very determined player on and off the court. I am a hard worker and I am always wanting to get better and better everyday. I have been a leader to all of my teams that I have played on and I always strive for the best of my teammates. Something that stands out with me is that I am a very coachable player, I have always listened to my coaches and did what they wanted me to do. Whether its playing in a new position that I have never done before or diving after a really hard ball, I always listen and do what my coach says to me. I’m a looking for a volleyball program that is going to be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I am currently wanting to major in medicine in hopes of becoming a successful anesthesiologist. Playing not only at a college level but also living out my dreams to be a doctor is something that I strive towards daily and it would amazing if I could do both.
