Hello, My name is Montserrat Poblete-Maruri. I am a OH/OPP who will be graduating in 2027. I am a committed volleyball player and I can say that volleyball has given me so much more than just a way to stay active. Volleyball has taught me the value of teamwork, communication, and perseverance. When I step onto the court, I know that I am part of something bigger than myself, and that every bump, set, and hit counts towards the ultimate goal of winning the game. Volleyball has also helped me develop my leadership skills, as I have had to learn how to motivate and encourage my teammates during both victories and defeats. I am also even-tempered on the court and do not get rattled even when the game is on the line. Overall, volleyball has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am grateful for all of the lessons and memories that it has given me. I am looking to play for a college that meets my academic and athletic goals. My career goal is to become a lawyer; I believe that my perseverance and determination will lead to me strive in this career. I am very competitive and I strive to do my best in all things. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you!
