Madison Heard '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Madi Heard. I am starting my Sophmore year of High School. I love playing volleyball! I played All-the-Way-Around for club, middle school, and high school seasons. I have played Outside, Setter, Opposite, DS, and some middle depending on where I am needed most so I have been used as a Utility player for most of my volleyball life. It's been hard to pick a position when I am asked for camps and clinics. My favorite is outside, but I love to jump set and see my teammates score! I am ambidextrous, but use my right hand for serving. I won a jumping contest in 8th grade for the highest vertical at a qualifier and in 9th on the 3rd day of playing, I placed 3rd. In the classroom, I love Math and Science and have an interest in physics and forensics. I also love architecture and engineering design, but I have wanted to fly planes since I was told enough to see them in the sky, so I'm still figuring out my pathway. I attended a couple of volleyball camps during my summers and it was so much fun! When I am not playing volleyball I volunteer at my church, go to camps, play basketball and flag football, and spend time with my family going camping and to amusement parks and water parks. I recently have gotten interested in track and running. I have a lot of siblings and we love to be active!
