Ever since I learned about college volleyball, I have made it my goal to compete at the next level. I want to compete and learn at the best school for me. It could be a smaller lesser known school, a larger school with a big reputation, or even a mid-major school ready to upset and topple big teams in the NCAA tournament. When looking for a school I highly value academic rigor because I truly believe in challenging and pushing myself in all aspects of life, especially in academics. This mindset for challenging myself in academics is a part of why I am a successful student with a 4.36 GPA, honor roll and dean's list awards, and honorable mentions in national french exams. When playing college volleyball I would include volleyball in my life just as I would school and social life. Having balance in school is something that also is important to me in order to be a well-rounded person as well as an athlete.
Some strengths that I have from the technical side is the ability to adapt and move well on the court (especially on defense). I am able to pick up a tip right behind the block or defend a deep ball swung down the line. Another strength I have is my ability to play anywhere on the court. I have played right back, middle back, and left back all throughout my club seasons and have become proficient and comfortable passing from anywhere o the court. I also highly value platform/ball control and am able to use this on serve receive. I am consistent and comfortable in serve receive and am able to get that perfect side-out pass as well as anybody. I have a strong work ethic and never skip out on a day in the gym, whether training volleyball or physical conditioning. I always am seeking advice and any coaching I can get and know that I can always be better. I value discipline and communication at all times while playing and try to bring energy and positivity at all times on and off the court. Thank you for your time!
