Personal Statement
My name is Anne Brennen Fisher. I am a 5'9 Middle, DS, and OPP. I am a sophomore at The Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, Georgia. I am currently in the IB program and have a 4.0 GPA. I plan on keeping my 4.0 GPA throughout all four years of high school and college.I played varsity for my school and started. I also got Best offense award.
It has been a goal of mine to play college volleyball for about how long I have been playing(sixth grade)I would be a good candidate for a team because I always persevere and I will always give 100%. If I have an off day at practice and my foot work is messed up, for example, I will go home and work very hard to perfect it. I also have very good mental focus. My coach tries very hard to drill that into our minds.
A couple things that make me different than other athletes is that I excel in school. I have a 4.0 in the IB Program and that did not come easy. I study almost every night. Also, I am very coachable. If my coach tells me a very simple correction I work very hard to perfect it and make it a habit. My athleticism is expressed in the fact that I play, and started, on my high school soccer team. I also got coaches award. I try very hard and try to be the best of my ability in everything I do.
