Faith Wert '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Faith, and I’ve played volleyball for four years. I am very coachable and always strive to be a supportive and dedicated teammate. I am captain of my JV team, I was captain of my middle school volleyball team in 8th grade, and I was the captain of a rec team in 2018. As a captain, I continually learn how to be a leader on the court and how to lead a team while winning or losing. I am a leader on the court, an encouraging teammate, and a diligent player. I pride myself on being consistent in my abilities while always trying to improve in every area I can. On my JV team, I am very fortunate to be able to improve my leadership skills and be a mentor to the younger girls on my team.

My goal as a volleyball player is to continue volleyball to a college-level and help bring my team to many victories. After college, I hope to continue playing or start coaching. My love for the sport helps me push myself to achieve my goals. Academically, I want to study English or literature and I hold myself to a very high standard concerning my education. I mainly want to go to college in the South, East, or Midwest. However, I am still keeping my options open.
