I am a girl who loves to play the game. Not only is volleyball a fun sport to me, volleyball is where I find peace and happiness. Being on a team is like having a second family. I am passionate both on and off the court, but not easily rattled. I tend to let things roll off my shoulders as opposed to impacting my ability to play. I remain calm, focused and positive, and lift up my team when facing adversity. I believe this is a key differentiator between me and other athletes. I aspire to be the best that I can be but also help others be their best. I am coachable and a disciplined, hard-worker. I take feedback and constructive criticism with a humble spirit, and apply it to become a better athlete. I am a servant leader who has a big heart and always encourage my teammates to be all they can be.
When I am off the court, I love hanging out with my friends, family, and serving others. I also enjoy singing and playing the piano. I volunteer by helping in the special needs ministry and co-teaching a 4th grade girls' Sunday School class at my church. I have also volunteered as a Counselor at Camp Dream, a summer camp for adults and children with significant handicaps. https://www.campdreamga.org/
In addition to playing volleyball at the collegiate level, my goal is to become a teacher and coach so that I can give back in my community by guiding and encouraging our youth to dream big and be difference-makers.
