Taina Leao '19 Recruiting Profile

Aloha my name is Taina Leao. I am a student at Hilo High school and have been a member of our Varsity team from Freshman Year to Senior Year. Since I was 14 years old, becoming a pharmacist has been my dream job. I want to help people in anyway possible and going into pharmaceutical programs is an amazing way of helping me to accomplish my goals.  My primary position is Opposite but I have played as a middle and outside as well as having playing all the way around including back row.  Volleyball isn't just a sport for me, its a way of living. I can express my emotions on the court either through an amazing block, maybe a miracle save, or just by encouraging my teammates. Everything about this sport makes me want to push for every ball even if I know its nearly impossible to save.
