2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
One of my personal goals is to play college volleyball while pursuing studies in the engineering/business field. I have a strong passion and love towards volleyball. I always try to improve my skills by reviewing my team’s game footage and practice. I try my best to motivate myself and my teammates to work together to become a better team.
I am competitive both on and off the court and strive to be my best athletically and academically. Even though I don't always succeed, I always give my best effort. I am not afraid to ask for help and welcome feedback to help me grow in the game and in life. I have been able to maintain my grades while continuing to compete against my peers who are generally older than I am. In addition to academics and athletics, I am a member of my school's Interact Club which focuses on community service projects that has sharpened my time management skills. I will continue my journey through hard work, passion, and support from family/friendships/teammates, to achieve my goal to play college volleyball.
