Hi, I'm Macy Matsushima.
I hope to pursue my volleyball passion and play in college. How do I plan to do it? Throughout my years in school, I've consistently made it on the Principal’s list, not an easy task! I'm striving to maintain a 4.0 GPA or higher throughout high school. I’m in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) which is rigorous and preparing me well for college. I have high expectations of myself in school and hope to attain my goals.
I'm self determined, disciplined and passionate about the sport. I'm loud on and off the court and strive to do my best. I put in the work to keep active and work on my skills all year long. I cross-train playing beach volleyball when there’s a break from indoor volleyball. I have managed the Kaiser boys volleyball team for the past three years and also coach younger kids to grow the sport.
I am looking for a college that fits my academic interest in business or education and athletic fit. I have put in the work throughout high school and looking for a college I can call home. Senior year is breezing by fast and it’s off to college soon.
