Hi! My name is Payton. I attend Mid Pacific Institute and will be graduating in 2024. I currently play outside hitter but can also play other positions, opposite, libero and setter. For college, I want to be a six-rotation player and I am willing to put in the extra effort to allow myself the opportunity to do so. I'm not scared to push myself to be the best player and teammate I can be. I also would like to help lead my team and be someone they can rely on. Indoor volleyball is not the only sport I play. I am on the school Varsity basketball team (2021-2023) and SAS Club beach volleyball (2019-2022). I enjoy volunteering my time to help at clinics run by my volleyball club. At the clinics, I get to join the younger players in the drills and scrimmage with them to help them to better themselves. On the academic side, I hold my self-accountable for my grades. I have been on the school math team since Freshmen year. I took all IB classes in my Junior year and have a few IB classes during my Senior year. I was awarded the Gold Key Award for an art project that was displayed in the Hawaii State Art Museum in Spring 2022.
