Hi, my name is Tiana Borkovic, and I graduate in 2022. Volleyball has been a very important aspect of my life as it has helped me achieve many things. My ultimate goal is to play college volleyball, all while earning my degree.
For my club team I am an outside hitter and DS. For my high school team I was an outside hitter. I am passionate, hard-working, and driven. I am a very supportive and encouraging teammate on and off the court, a fast learner, as well as a coachable player.
I started playing sports in the seventh grade (Tennis and Volleyball) and grown a passion for volleyball. I started playing club my sophomore year and have played club for three years (including this year). In these three years, my first year I got into a regional team, and the following two years I have been on a national team. Playing volleyball has shown me accountability, commitment, character development and hard-work that I now use outside of volleyball. It’s given me the ability to think strategically and have immediate communication. In volleyball, I always try to improve and by doing so I believe I am helping my teammates be the best they are able of being. I have purposeful practices, I workout to get better and win. Outside of practices, I take what I’ve learned and find ways to practice some at home. I look at videos my parents filmed at tournaments and learn from them. I have never been afraid to push my myself and work hard. I’d be very thankful for any consideration on your team.
