Kaytlynn Thompson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaytlynn Thompson. My first year of volleyball was when I was in 3rd grade and I have loved it ever since then. Last year I played for Idaho Show and was on the 16-18 year old team this year I'm playing for Ignite nationals 1 and cant wait for our season to start. This is my first year of high school and was really scared to tryout of my high school team. I spent all summer at volleyball camps and working on getting better to make sure I made a high school team. I ended up making our JV team and was really excited for the school season to start. I go to Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School, which is a 4 year high school with high standards which provides students with health-science curriculum and provide students a head start into their pre-med, nursing, paramedics, and medical assisting degrees. When i'm older I want to become an anesthesiologist because in school we watch surgery's being done and I think the human body is really amazing to look at. If I had to describe myself in one word I would say i'm adventurous, I love to try new things and go out and really love exploring the world.
