When I was about 12 I started playing on a club volleyball team, and I really fell in love with the sport. As I got older, my passion for the game immensely grew. I started out as a middle, then in junior high, I was switched to a setter. I've set since then, and it's been an exciting and intense journey. Now, going through my senior year, I'm excited for the big things ahead of me. Losing my father at the age of 15 really opened up my eyes about life. It taught me to never take anything for granted and that life is short, make the most of it. Through volleyball I have learned to become a more confident player and more confident person in general. I've always been a leader on the court, and that has helped with my day to day life as well. Ever since I was little and all through high school, I always strived to work hard and get good grades. I expect the same out of myself in college, because school always comes first. I've managed to be a successful student-athlete so far, and I hope to continue doing so. I'm looking for a program that will be a good for for me athletically as well as academically. I have the ability and the leadership skills to help teams be successful, and I'm excited for the future!
