My name is Maeve Bailey, and I'm a 6'2" high school junior Middle Hitter/Outside hitter. I play for Sun Valley Community School in Sun Valley, Idaho, and I am currently playing for a newly formed club team called Idaho One Club, out of Boise, Idaho. I will be playing on the 17's national team, coached by Maren Ericson. Ever since I started playing competitive volleyball, I have been interested in pursuing the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level.
I started playing volleyball as an 8th grader. After my first, middle school season, I made Wood River Valley's Elite Club team for two years in a row and have been a starter on the varsity high school team since my freshman year.
I finished my high school season with the top kill percentage in our league and was voted 1st team all-conference. I am a dedicated player and teammate, and I believe my work ethic and talent would be a good match for a collegiate program. After my college graduation, I am interested in pursuing a business degree to further my passion for the equestrian world. Since I was seven years old, I have been riding competitively, so seeking business in the equestrian world is what I want to pursue in life.
