Volleyball has taught me to rise up to the challenges that are put in front of me both on and off the court. When I was younger adversity intimidated me but as I grew as a player my confidence grew both on and off the court. Now, when faced with a problem, I don't see it as a setback, but I see it as a challenge to overcome.
In addition to volleyball my family and friends are a big part of my life and I enjoy being on a team with a sense of strong camaraderie. I feel as though I bring positive energy to the team with my sense of humor and passion for the game.
