I started playing volleyball in seventh grade and fell in love with the sport. I played freshman year and tried to play in sophmore year, but unfortunately there was set backs. I then wasn't able to participate my junior year due to covid. Throughout sophomore and junior year I practiced and brushed up on my skills and continued to work on bettering myself for the team by going to a neighbor's in home gym. I even practiced outside with a net set up by my father and younger brothers who would push me to do and be better. They would practice with me and would tell me where I needed to grow in the sport and how to do so. I strive on knowing I can always improve and that motivates me. Even if I wasn't on an official team for a while, I made up for it by creating my own team (my family).
