My name is Ryanne Ehrman. I am a senior at Coal City High School. I have been playing volleyball since sixth grade in school and on club teams. My favorite position is outside hitter, although I have played right side, middle blocker and libero. I'm a hardworking athlete and student. I play all six rotations. I love defense as much as I love hitting and being offensively aggressive. I prefer hitting quick tempo sets and love a fast paced game. Volleyball is my passion, and it has been my goal to play at a collegiate level since sixth grade.
I am an honor roll student, and I have taken honors classes throughout my entire high school experience. I have a 3.854 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. I have been all-conference academics all my years in high school. I was selected by my high school principal to represent my class at leadership conferences. I am undecided on my major, but I have looked into physical therapy and veterinary studies.
My other interests include horses and track; I have been riding and showing horses since the age of 4. I enjoy running to stay in shape and have been a varsity track and field team member since my freshman year.
