When I went to my first college volleyball camp at 13 years old, I knew that I wanted to be "one of them." I looked up to the college athletes and dreamed that I'd be playing at the collegiate level one day. Ever since then, I have been working hard to reach my goal and to get up to that competitive level. I am very passionate about the game of volleyball and I want to grow as an athlete and a person throughout my college years.
I am a hard worker and I do not give up easily. I strive to be a good leader and role model for my teammates and always try to encourage others, on and off the court. I am a consistent player and apply the advice and corrections given to me by coaches. I have good court awareness while also playing quick and smart, and feel that I would be a great asset to any team.
I am different because I am able to keep my mistakes from effecting my overall performance on the court. I have great empathy towards others and my teammates look up to me for guidance when they are down. I am strong willed and have a good caring heart. Academically, I maintain a high GPA while being involved in a few extra activities including Key Club and Art Club.
