2023 Highlights Personal Statement
Hi Coach! I'm Sophia Loucks. Ever since I stepped onto the court in 5th grade, my passion for volleyball has grown exponentially. As I enter my junior year, my dedication to volleyball has never been stronger, and I am determined to take my skills to the collegiate level.
Volleyball has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of teamwork. Whether it's pushing through rough practices or rallying my teammates during a tense match, I thrive on the challenges that volleyball presents. I am always seeking opportunities to learn from coaches, teammates, and even opponents. Beyond my love for the game, I am also dedicated to excelling academically. I believe my athletic skill, combined with my academic achievements, make me a strong candidate for collegiate athletics.
