Personal Statement

Whether on the court, in the classroom or serving in my community,  I believe in working hard at everything I do. Whatever task placed before me, I make sure to accomplish it to the best of my ability. My teachers and coaches commend me for my leadership, work ethic and character, and I thrive under pressure. Over the past two years, I have transitioned from Right Side to Setter. My athleticism as a multi-sport athlete,  cross-training in all aspects of the game with one of the best clubs in the country, knowing the mind of my hitters while also having great instincts at the net, and my ability to "run the court" while firing up my teammates make me one of the best all-around players on any court.

While volleyball is an important aspect of my life, it's not the most important aspect. My competitive but encouraging spirit, mental toughness, and volleyball IQ sets me apart from other athletes, but I also love being part of a team as it has taught me the importance of friendship, loyalty and bringing out the best in others. My family and my faith keep me balanced, grounded and well-supported while encouraging life-experiences that contribute to who I am far beyond the court. With both of my parents being former college athletes (and my dad being a former professional baseball player), I think I'd love the privilege and unique experience of being a student-athlete.

My college aspirations include majoring in chemistry, forensics or engineering at a school who will provide the best education and an awesome culture that will help me enjoy my college experience!

In the meantime, I'll continue to strive to be the best version of myself in whatever I do. Hope to see you on the court!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
