I am small, but mighty. I come from a family of athletes. My mom was a Division I volleyball player at Northern Illinois University in the 90’s. She was a defensive specialist and is my biggest fan. My dad was a high school basketball coach for 16 years before passing away from Cancer in 2018. I learned how to be determined from him. I have two older brothers that were also involved in athletics and gave me a competitive edge. I am a competitive dancer since age 3 and competitive cheer age 7 to 14. I also play high school soccer and have played club soccer. I am a very self-driven student athlete. Once I set my mind to something, I accomplish it. I can be described as a healthy, happy, hardworking, athlete with speed and grit. I started varsity as a freshman for soccer and as a sophomore for volleyball. I was recruited by my club volleyball coach, Kati, this season for JNVBC 17’ Black uniform #4. I work at the local YMCA for the youth leagues running the scoreboards and scorebooks for adult men’s leagues. I also work for a local newspaper, The Source. My boss, Marcy, is also the Morgan County Coroner, so my job consists of some photography, clerical work, journalism pieces, and administrative assistant duties for both of these areas. I am a very respectful, and responsible employee who takes pride in being accomplished in the work place, as well. It is a dream and goal of mine to play volleyball in college. Of all my activities, it has become my passion. I have attended some camps and clinics, but plan to attend more this summer to further my game IQ and abilities.
