Personal Statement

My ultimate goal is to play volleyball at the highest and most competitive collegiate level that I can. I'm looking for a school that can provide coaches and players that will push me to do my best on the court and a lot of diversity and many opportunities found within the classroom. I've been dedicated to this sport ever since I was 12 years old and my love for volleyball has always been clear to those around me. I'm an Outside Hitter as well as Defensive Specialist and I'm a 2024 graduate. I’m an honor student taking all honors classes and AP courses. I believe in bringing energy to every single moment shared and also the importance of determination, integrity, and accountability. To me, I know that playing volleyball is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would love it to be a part of my college journey and experience.

Rarely over passes or shanks/miss contacts the ball. Offense - Has a knack for finding the court on the attack, sees the open court, and has the ability to make solid contact. Tactical Abilities - 92 / 100 Communication - Great communicator; organizes and directs teammates well and communicates frequently. Reading The Game - Does well seeing the play before it happens and reading the other team to help put herself in a good position on the court. Physical Abilities - 92 / 100 Endurance - Great work rate throughout camp. Showed endurance that helped effectiveness, especially late. Explosiveness - Great quickness and explosiveness, especially in the first step or two. This will be an asset in all aspects of the game Mental Abilities - 95 / 100 Leadership - Excellent job taking charge and leading the team. Great communicator and motivator. Team Player - Great team-first attitude. Was encouraging and supportive to teammates throughout camp. Coach's Comments: Caitlin has a great attitude and work ethic at camp. Her willingness to become better is very good to watch. Her awareness on the field and technical skills help her create opportunities for teammates. As a 2024 grad, she still has time to develop physically and has the potential to become and elite player. She has a bright volleyball career ahead of her. OH pass and swing so confidence is key especially for someone like Caitlin who are pretty good at both OH also block and tend to not worry about it a lot but blocking is key and should be work on If Caitlin wants to hit the ball even harder then increasing her strength will help tremendously

She has a very bright volleyball career ahead of her, I look forward to seeing her develop. adding more physicality to your attack will take your performance to the next level. sharpen the knife, having a clean hand contact will help expand your range and provide you with more opportunity to be creative in any situation taking balls outside your body in serve recieve will help you learn how to manage more angles as well as be prepared to pass balls served at higher speeds in the collegiate level.
