Ginny Gerig '16 Recruiting Profile

My Goal as a volleyball player is to play at a D1 program.

I am high energy and very competitive. I also make it a goal to be the hardest worker in the gym for every practice and game. I have been a captain on every team I have played on, so I have leadership skills. I have a good attitude on and off the court but I also don't like to lose so I make everything competitive during practice even.

I am not only a player but an athlete. I am quick and agile on the court. I have great court awareness and play awesome defense because I read hitters well.. I am a setter and I run a fast offense. I have been trained with the sports performance setters footwork. I am able to read the blockers on the other side of the net while setting. I also serve both aggressive jump float and jump top spin. Over all I have great ball control.

I take school very serious I consider myself a student athlete. I focus on school just as much as I do volleyball. I have always been on the honor roll and have a 4.345 GPA on a 5 point scale.
