I started playing volleyball when I was 11, and I instantly fell in love with the game. Since then, I have been a one sport athlete constantly focusing on taking my game to the next level. When it wasn't school volleyball season, I was busy attending camps, workshops, and participating in club seasons. Through all of this, along with playing club and high school volleyball at the varsity level, I not only gained technical skills, I also built character. I worked hard and gained a strong work ethic, more accountability, and an excellent sense of sportsmanship.
These are attributes I contribute to the court and to the classroom. They are characteristics that I feel will bring the most impact to your team as well as help me strive to achieve my goals as a nursing student, ultimately becoming a nurse practitioner. I have remained an A student throughout my school years, and in high school, have maintained a GPA of more than 3.6. I feel confident that I can find the right academic and athletic fit for me, and I know I can bring a formidable sense of determination to the volleyball program.
