Ivy Ayers '22 Recruiting Profile

My main objective is giving 110% in not only volleyball but school as well. School is my priority and learning/experiencing new things has always been something I love. I would say I have an abstract way of thinking so working as a profiler or in a criminal justice field really interests me. I take school very seriously and always strive to do my best on every assignment or test. When I'm not busy doing school work, I can usually be found on the court. Volleyball was my first love and has played a huge role in my life. The sport has definitely made me who I am today in regards to being a team player and a leader. As a libero I direct the traffic and can tell my teamates what I see on the other side of the court. It is very rewarding seeing my teamates succeed and grow as players throughout high school. The best feeling is scoring a point and coming together as a team to celebrate. I've played on so many different teams with so many different people and I am very grateful for the experiences each one gave me. It made me realize what type of player, student, and person I want to be in my life.
