Ellen Amjadi '23 Recruiting Profile

My love for volleyball began at the age of 7 when I watched my sister play at qualifiers and national tournaments. I started playing club volleyball at 10, traveling and competing at a high level across the country. My dedication to develop the technical elements of the game, positive attitude, competitive spirit, leadership, mental toughness, and teamwork have made me excel both on and off the court. and makes me a good candidate for any college team Interested in a coachable, intelligent, personable and team oriented player with high technical skills in the Libero/DS positions. In high school, I‘ve been the starting Libero on varsity since my Freshman year & earned First Team All Conference each year and voted the MVP of the team. I’m currently honored to be co-captain of the team and we are having a record breaking season to date. Having success on the court is equally as important to me as high academic achievement which I strive for in high school and beyond. Some character strengths that stand out about me are being respectful, self discipline,  caring, compassionate, strong sense of responsibility and work ethics, trust and loyalty.
