Personal Statement

When I started playing Club volleyball in 7th grade, I realized that I wanted to continue playing in both high school and college. Each year since then, I have been playing with a more competitive team and playing in bigger venues. As a setter, I have developed strong leadership skills on the floor as I communicate the plays and motivate my teammates. Other strengths that I have include organizational skills, strong work ethic, and honest feedback. As I consider applications to college, I am looking for both a strong academic school and competitive volleyball program. Presently, my academic goals in high school are to finish with a 4.0 or higher GPA and to finish in the top 3 of my class. I am beginning to explore vocations within the mathematics and chemistry backgrounds and I desire to study both in college.

College Volleyball Prospect ID Showcase

This camp is hosted by 6 colleges/universities including Franklin College, Marian University, Rose-Hulman, Spalding University, Transylvania, and University of Southern Indiana. The camp is designed to work with athletes on certain fundamentals and drills within the position of their choice. The last portion of the 1/2-day camp revolves around scrimmage play of the athletes.

This was an overnight team camp put on by DePauw University and their coaching staff for area high school varsity volleyball teams to attend. The daily itinerary was filled with specific position drills, fundamental skill teachings, and competitive scrimmaging. Five varsity high school programs attended.

This is a private gym in our community that is owned by a baseball player that played several years in the independent league and then worked as the MLB Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Chicago Cubs. He has designed a specific regiment for athletes in training and gears towards high performance within strength, agility, and speed.
