Autumn Kersey '23 Recruiting Profile

I am Autumn Kersey, a senior at Herron High School in Indianapolis, IN. My primary position is an Outside hitter and secondary DS. I've been playing organized volleyball for seven years, 3 of which were at the varsity level, and two (2) years of club volleyball at The Academy Indianapolis. Recently I was able to lead my team to victory at the Tiger Invite which was first in Herron History! As a sophomore, I competed in the Indiana Elite North vs. South Volleyball College Showcase in 2020. I've attended various camps hosted by Butler and Purdue University. As a player who has not had the ideal support throughout their volleyball career but has the love & passion for the game of volleyball, I would be thankful to be welcomed into a program who is willing to help me further my skills & help me grow as a person! 

While at university, I plan to pursue a degree in Business Management and a minor in Visual/Performing Arts. Upon completion of my degree, I will further my dream of ownership of a Real Estate agency. I am hardworking, coachable, and dedicated to volleyball. This sport has allowed me to showcase my passion and the competitive skills only shown in the classroom. I am a team player and will be a great addition to a team that will welcome me to their program. Failure is not an option!
