Madalyn Hudnall '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, My name is Madalyn Hudnall and I believe I would be a great candidate for your team because I have a lot of intensity and flexibility with my skill. The highlight of my high school career so far was helping my school team have the best season in 10 years. I originally started playing volleyball because my mom played in high school. After my first game in 8th grade I knew I wanted to take my skill to the highest level I could. I have scoliosis and sometimes it makes things a little more difficult to achieve, but I have never given up. I've always pushed past the difficulties. We have been able to manage it very well with college sports as my goal. My personal goals for college are to get a great education while playing the sport I love. I want to study kinesology college and I feel that playing a collegiate sport could help with that. I feel that I would be a good addition to  any team because I am a very hard worker and I am very encouraging to my team mates, while still making things fun. I am a very open minded person and I love a good challenge. I am very versatile in the front row, I have played middle and outside for the most part with a little bit of right side. I have a lot of power in my swing. I am very mentally strong, it's easy for me to keep my head clear and to not dwell on a mistake or a bad point. Academically I am a very dedicated worker, and I take high pride in my work.
