HI! My name is Brinley Hay and I am graduating class of 2028. I have loved volleyball since I started playing in 6th grade. It has become my top priority and I am motivated to play after high school. I was on my high school's first out of 3 freshman teams and we went undefeated and won our conference. My current club team IPVA keeps me busy as a middle hitter and I have spent many hours training with a middle hitter from Grandview University. He pushes me to be my best and I have made so much progress since I began working with him in the winter of 2023. He teaches me to fix the small things that can make a big impact for myself and my team. I'm extremely coachable and put my time and effort into weight training, fundamentals and conditioning to make myself the best teammate I can be. I will play any position I am asked to play and I enjoy going to practice and always want to get there early to warm up and mentally prepare.
Sports have always been a major part of my life. I also stay busy as a goalkeeper for my club team and have been playing soccer since I was 4. I played basketball for several years, softball for 2 years and spent 2 years in gymnastics. I am a well-rounded athlete and dedicated team player that wants to continue to play volleyball at the next level.
