Sophie Lyle '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello!   Thank you for looking at my profile. I fell in love with the sport of volleyball when I was in the 6th grade.  I knew then that I wanted to play at a college level.  I also knew how hard it would be to do that!   I am a middle child.  This makes me spunky, curious, hard working, dependable and fierce!  I have worked hard at my grades and volleyball skills and will continue to do so.  Putting hours and hours in at the gym working on my jump serve and hitting approach.  I have played club ball since 6th grade.  I love working the net and there's nothing better than a kill!  I have great grades, a PT job at a coffee shop and responsibilities at home.  I am not afraid of hard work and know what needs to be done to accomplish my goals.  I plan to study secondary education in college so I can teach MS/HS history or Physical Education with a minor in exercise science.  I will also be getting my coaching certificate as I  would love to coach volleyball too!
