Molly Joyner '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since my first year playing volleyball as an 11 year old, I have always dreamed about playing volleyball at the collegiate level. These last few years I’ve made goals and pushed my athleticism to drive myself to success.  As a hard worker, I will always be hustling on and off the court, keeping my mentality focused during practices and games. I am a dedicated athlete that puts in 100% effort every time I step onto the court, and will always treat practices like a game. As a 5’10” athlete, I’ve always loved being an outside hitter, but I am also a very coachable athlete and can adapt to any challenges ahead of me. While I’m an outside on the court, I am also very committed to pushing my teammates towards success whether we are on the court or not. One of my best characteristics as a teammate is expressing a positive attitude after a mistake is made in order for my teammates to think positively to themselves and reset. I am extremely supportive of my teammates and would wish nothing more than to see their dreams come true as well. 

While I am passionate about volleyball, I am also looking for a college that meets my academic needs. As of right now, I am looking to go into business and minor in interior design to become a realtor. This is my plan for now but may change in the future. 

I am looking for a college that meets both my academic and athletic goals. I would love to be in a college that is located in a large, urban city, that is also DII, DIII or NAIA with a higher academic level. Even though these characteristics are what I would love to be a part of, I am very flexible and open to many different options.
