Hi, this is Morgan Goodell, I am currently a sophomore at Clarion Goldfield Dows High School in Clarion, IA. I play volleyball for the Clarion High school Cowgirls and AAU Rec. team. Competitive athletics have always been a part of my life. I have always enjoyed competing in athletics. As a gymnast at an early age, I learned dedication, commitment and the value of hard work. After gymnastics, I fell in love with volleyball and still love every aspect of the sport. The one thing that sticks out to me the most is the team aspect. Volleyball is one of those sports where you can't win every point by yourself. I love celebrating with my team at the end of each point no matter who scores the point. I value building strong relationships with my teammates as well as my coaches and believe that I can get along with anyone. I have been told that I am very fun to watch on the court and that I bring a lot of energy and positivity to the team. I would love to play at the highest level of my ability in college, while also pursuing a nursing degree. I thrive on getting feedback for my performance that can help me elevate my skill sets and help my team. I take pride in my academic work and always strive to do my best and ask for help when I need it. As I look forward to the future I hope to attend a college that will allow me to develop both academically and athletically.
