Volleyball is my favorite sport. I have passion and love for it that is unmatched.
I think what makes me a good candidate for your team is my teamwork skills, leadership skills, and love for the game. I have put in countless hours working on my performance.
I am a sports record holder at my high school. The volleyball records I currently hold include: career dig, kill, and ace serves, along with the season dig, kill, and ace serves. But, what I am most proud of is my VB team was the Pride Of Iowa Conference Champions for the first time in school history last season!
I also participate in other sports at Lenox High School. Softball -- I am the season and career record holder for home runs (9 season//23 career) and RBI's (45 season/124 career). In Basketball, I reached the 1000 points milestone midway through my JR season (last year). I hold the school record for points scored in a game (35), assists in a single game (11), and rebounds in a season (358). I have been a participant in the Iowa State Track meet as a Freshman, Sophomore and Junior -- and, placed 5th in the 400m in 1A my sophomore year.
I am the Senior Class President at LHS, and I succeed in the classroom. I have straight A’s and I maintain them. I have been on the Student Council and I regularly volunteer at blood drives at my school. I completed more than 20 hours of community service for my Government class. Currently, I am taking 3 classes at Southwestern Community College as dual enrollment. I work part time at Cafe Sign, a local flower shop--where I make/deliver flower arrangements, and wait on customers.
