I have been playing volleyball since I was about 9 years old. I joined a club team when I was 12 and that is when my love of the sport of volleyball began to grow. I am constantly striving to improve my skills, not only to better myself, but to help better my teams. Although I focus on volleyball, I am a multi sport athlete playing in softball, as well as basketball 2 years, and also running in track 2 years.
I have been a varsity starter in volleyball since my freshman year receiving recognition from KMA Sports as the Freshman of the year, making the All Tournament Team at the West Harrison tournament in the fall of 2016, and receiving Honorable Mention in the Rolling Valley Conference All Conference team. I was named MVP and Offensive Player of the year for my high school team.
My sophomore year I received recognition as 2nd Team All-Conference in the Rolling Valley Conference. I was named Offensive Player of the Year and MVP for the second year in a row, and was recognized for my Leadership by the team.
My Junior year I received recognition as 2nd Team All-Conference in the Rolling Valley Conference. I was named both Offensive and Defensive player of the year, as well as team captain. During my junior year I received recognition for setting several school record. Most Kills in School History - Career, Most Kills in School History - Season, and Most Kills per set in School History.
I enjoy playing and traveling with my club team. I played Killclub Volleyball for 5 years and have recently joined Premier Volleyball in Omaha playing on Premier Nebraska 17 Red.
I also enjoy softball. I have been a varsity starter since my 8th grade year when we qualified for the State tournament. I also received a varsity letter in basketball and track my freshman and sophomore years.
Being very busy with multiple high school sports, plus a club sport, I always make time for my academics. It is important to me to further my education and do well in my classes. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, so I work hard to maintain my GPA with a full class schedule.
