My academics have always come first, however, as a freshman and sophomore, I played basketball, volleyball, and rode horses. In my volleyball career, I played varsity my sophomore and junior year, with hopes to continue to improve going into my senior year. Unfortunately, I'm not out for basketball anymore because I want to make volleyball my main sport. I still love to play volleyball and ride horses to this day. Because of the lack of seniors in volleyball last year, I had the opportunity to step up and become a leader. I made it to every practice, almost every open gym, and anything extra I could participate in to better myself for my team. I plan to continue to strive to be a strong leader on and off the court and do as much as I can for my team. I believe that's why I'm a good teammate.
