I’m Avianna DeGuzman, a sophomore (Class of 2027) currently in the NCAA Transfer Portal with two years of eligibility remaining. I currently play at Iona University, where I have gained experience in multiple roles, including Libero, Defensive Specialist, and Outside Hitter. I am a well-rounded, six-rotation player who loves both offense and defense. Off the court, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am passionate about contributing to a competitive program that values hard work, versatility, and a team-first mentality.
Academically, I maintain a 3.8 GPA and completed my fall semester with straight A’s and have been on the Dean's List for the past 2 years. I am majoring in Media Communications with a minor in Sports Business, aspiring to pursue a career in sports broadcasting after my volleyball journey.
