I have always enjoyed volleyball. It really hit me that I loved volleyball my 8th grade year when my school team won the league championship. During club volleyball that winter, my club team also won one of our tournaments. It was then that I knew I wanted to keep playing and become more competitive at volleyball. I have also been inspired to be the best I can be by my aunt who played Division 1 volleyball and my mother who has coached club and high school volleyball.
Since I started playing volleyball, I have learned many things. For one, you have to work and fight to become better. In addition you have to have a good attitude and be willing to be a team player. Although I have much to learn, I believe that I have enough talent, work ethic, competiveness, and determination to compete and be a leader for a college team.
