Yolaine Luthi '23 Recruiting Profile

For the longest time, one of my biggest goals in life has been to play college ball. I am a three-sport athlete and have competed in volleyball, basketball, and track. My role as an athlete is to play my hardest at all times, take time outside of practice to get better, encourage my teammates, and respect/listen to my coaches and those above me. I am known as the teammate who everyone can count on, whether that is on the court, in class, or outside of academics, I will always show up. My best skill as an athlete is having humility, and respect for my coaches, team, and audience. As a collegiate player, I listen and receive advice well which shows when I perform. My commitment to volleyball overpowers the natural abilities I have as an athlete. Competing at the next level would be a goal that I achieved knowing that it wasn't just handed to me. 

As part of my academic achievements, I have always maintained a 3.5 or above GPA throughout my academic career. I have always enjoyed school and am currently studying Interior Design/ Graphic Design at Allen County Community College in KS.

I want to attend a university where I can meet amazing people and have some of the best experiences in my life. My eyes are open to all options and I ultimately want to find the right college that I will not only play for and represent, but also grow as a person through all the different opportunities the Lord provides me with. God has big plans for me, I can feel it. In the end, I know that a life with God is everything. I will always be grateful for whatever the Lord blesses me with!
