Olivia Lubbers '22 Recruiting Profile

As a volleyball player I have experienced tremendous physical, technical, and mental growth, this past year which has also developed me as a person. My experiences in club volleyball have helped me realize exactly what I love in competitive volleyball, which is the intensity of the game and challenging myself to get that dig or make that play, and encourage and celebrate with teammates. I have learned that to be successful in volleyball, it takes a team of players with complimentary skills, who are willing to work together towards the same goal. 

On the court, I am a very versatile player. No matter what position I am put in, I will contribute to any team, and work hard to develop my skills and win the game. I want to be on a team, playing for a coach that values hard work and character, in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the court. Understanding that sports at the collegiate level is a privilege, therefore, I would be very grateful to have that opportunity. I would use that opportunity to advance my education toward a forensic pathology degree.
