It seems so early to be thinking about college, but I love the game of volleyball and want to continue the camaraderie, close friendships, and fun that I have with my team now, in college. The love of being in a great game, belonging to a team, and knowing that I have a crew that has my back is something that I can imagine is an invaluable part of being able to fit into the college life. I love getting to know new and different people than I have encountered in my small town and look forward to that on a college volleyball team!
Honestly, I don't know that I am any different than other recruits that you may see. I can only speak about myself when I say that I am a hard worker, like to learn new strategies, and love the intensity of a great volleyball game. Being a team player is something I strive to do, and want my teammates to do the same.
Academically, I have a will and a need to succeed. Currently in high school, I am involved in a PTLW BioMed program. This may or may not be the way I want to go in college, but I feel like it is important to try it out and see if I like it or not. I have taken some General Education classes in high school and plan to take a couple more so I will be a little ahead when I do get to college. My ACT score is a work in progress! Test taking is not my strength, but I have a plan to us our high school's free online program and retake it a few more times.
