Emily Noland '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Emily Noland. I was first introduced to volleyball in 2019., my freshman year of high school. I had never really touched a volleyball before that time. I fell in love with the sport immediately.  I wanted to know everything I could about it. I played on my  JV team at school that fall, and started private lessons in January. 2020. Unfortunately, COVID 19 hit and my clinics and lessons were put on hold for several months. However, I continued to work out at home with the help of my parents. For the past 2 years, I have been either at practice at school or at private lessons or clinics on the weekends 5 to 7 days a week, while maintaining honor roll status at school. I have worked hard to increase my volleyball IQ and have played every position on the court through my  career, including setter and libero! 

This school season I started as a Right-Side Hitter, then moved to DS as the team needed.  After a hitter was injured, I went back to RS like I had never left that position!  That player is recovered now, and I am back to DS. I play 6 rotation RS hitter during club season.
