Emalee Watts '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Emalee Watts and I would like to introduce myself! I am 18 years old and a senior at Breathitt County HS in Jackson, Kentucky. I am honored to have been voted the 2020 14th Region Player of the Year And the 2021 We Elite POY. I play volleyball for Breathitt County HS. I have been a varsity team member and starter since my 7th grade, and was named co-captain my freshman year and Team Captain my sophomore, Junior, and Senior seasons. We compete in the 14th region and often face some high level players. On the court I am a vocal leader and push not only myself, but also my teammates to play at the highest level possible. I attend 5 or more college camps every summer, and participate in club volleyball during the Spring.

I am a very dedicated student and take my education very seriously, I take many College Dual Credit and AP classes offered by my school. I have decided that I will go into the medical field in college to study pharmacy. I also participate in many other things outside of volleyball such as HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America), softball, and basketball. 

I plan to consider colleges that are a good match for me academically and athletically.  Volleyball is my passion, and if I get to follow my dream and have the opportunity to play college volleyball, then that would be fantastic!
