Sabina Dutille '24 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with volleyball the first time I played it in my friends back yard. The highlight of my volleyball career is my small high school team qualifying for state.  This was influential to me because when my school started a volleyball team we could not win a single game, but just 2 short years later we were one of the best teams in our league. The moment that made me grow into a better person and volleyball player is when my team had a tournament, and had to play eight games in one day. By the end we were exhausted, but had one game left, the finals. We worked so hard that day, got pretty banged up on the way, but in a close game that lasted almost three hours we won. After this tournament I saw volleyball in a different way, it is not just a game, it is a way of life. I realized there was nothing I would not do to just play one more point. No matter how tired I am or how much my body is telling me to stop, I will always be ready to play just one more point.
