Emily Hendrickson '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to review my profile. My name is Emily, and I have been playing volleyball for seven years now. I love volleyball with a passion and greatly admire the team aspect of the sport. I am considered a leader on my team and completely devote myself to lifting up others and cheering them up when they feel down. I aspire to improve my game both physically and mentally. While I don't necessarily have a set idea of what I want to major in, I can promise you that I am a hardworking and capable person. I try my hardest to excel in everything I do and constantly try to improve athletically and academically. During my years playing volleyball, I've learned that the sport is great at bringing people close together. Coaches and players all come together as one group to play the sport they love. The sport allows for teammates to learn from each other just as much as they do from the coach. The coach also constantly learns from their players. I want to continue to learn new things from my coach and teammates. I ultimately look forward to playing the game I love with people that inspire and teach me.
