The thrilling buzz you get after a kill, the skillful competitiveness, the relationships and family you gain, and the 110% effort and heart it takes to beat a team has always drawn me to volleyball. I've played the sport since first grade, and I want to keep at it as long as I physically can, probably till I break my hip in the senior leagues.
Over the years, volleyball and my family have been my rocks. From them, I've learned how to depend on others more and that we, in all aspects of life and especially volleyball, enhance each other's skills and talents.
By the end of high school, I hope to have graduated at the top of my class and to have narrowed down what I want to major in for college. I'm a big nerd who loves all things math, chemistry, writing, computer science, and art, so who knows where my path may lead. I'm a flexible girl, both literally and physically, who could fit in at any college and on any team. I want to win, but more importantly, I want to gain the life changing experience I know college volleyball will be for me, and I'm prepared to work my butt off to get there.
