My name is Alyssa Manning. I am a 5’7” Setter/DS from Walden HS in Louisville, KY. I will graduate in 2024. My fields of interest for my college career are Forensic Psychology, Pre-Med, and Criminal Law. I would also like to minor in Spanish. My goal is to eventually work at the FBI as a Forensic Psychiatrist. I take my studies extremely seriously, taking 5 AP classes this year along with the 2 I took last year. I feel I am a leader on and off the volleyball court. My team voted me captain this year and I have played on the varsity team since I was an 8th grader. I have also played up in age the last 3 years of club. I have enjoyed all the friendships and life lessons I have learned from volleyball. I hope to continue that at the collegiate level. I feel I am a very loyal teammate and very coach-able. I enjoy pushing myself to be better, taking extra lessons at every opportunity. I do not feel I have yet reached my potential and look forward to striving to do that in college.
