Kyissa Baccus '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kyissa Baccus and I'm a junior at Newport High School. My goals in life include graduating High School and moving on to college to  study Fashion Design, and soon becoming a worldwide successful designer. Along with fashion, volleyball has become a sport I've grown to love and been able to prosper in. I gained love for the sport after a school coach recognized my athletic ability and suggested me to play when I was in 6th grade. What makes me fit for any team is my strong ability to lead and my charitable personality. I'm able to adjust to any and all changes brought forth to me and I'm a quick learner that is always wanting to improve. My dedication to sports has instilled discipline in me to maintain great academics. Even though my life situations haven't enabled me to play in club or camps, coaches from different high schools always mention that I perform outstandingly in the sport.
