Sydney Nolan '23 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball is my passion.  I am an extremely hard worker who takes volleyball and academics very seriously.  In school, I am always looking to improve myself.  I am driven and hardworking and I take classes that push me to excel.  I challenge myself to study and keep my grades up while playing volleyball and being active in after-school activities and volunteer work.

With volleyball, we have a team first mentality which means that we always put team first no matter what.  It isn't about the individual player, but about the entire team.  As a middle/outside hitter I work hard to get my job done and to help assist my teammates.  I try to be a leader for the team by staying positive and supporting my teammates both on and off the court.  

I am always striving to make myself better on the court. I do extra skills trainings, small group lessons, and strength/jump training to make myself stronger and faster. My goal is to continue to play at the top level and to play at a top college while continuing to challenge myself academically.
